I had two reunions in the same year: one was high school and the other was college and neither one was a traditional number of years. There was a group photo for high school but I never got a copy. Haven't done any since and this would be the 50th for college but I don't want to travel half way across the country.
Good for you for still finding enjoyment, or amusement, in class reunions. The 20th was my last; on the cusp of a new millennium. I did try for a few years to keep in touch with folks, but even then it seemed like the only thing we still had in common was our shared past. And frankly, nostalgia bores me to tears.
I went to my 30 year reunion and those that disliked me pretended so well to be glad to see me. I couldn’t get over their faux kindness enough to be honest with them that they were still rather dull and boring.
I love this entry particularly, particularly because my 50th high school reunion is in just about precisely twelve months. Oh boy.
I love these entries so much. I find myself wondering, how can she make writing about swimming at dawn so interesting? And yet, you do. You always do.
Thank you so much!

I live in Duluth, MN on Lake Superior and it is cold even in the summer. Last winter I started cold plunging--the water would be just a bit above freezing. I wear scuba boots and some people get scuba gloves or hold their hands above their head. My husband gifted me a Dry Robe. It is oversized that is waterproof on the outside on the inside is fuzzy and you can change when you are zipped up in it. Worth every penny! https://us.dryrobe.com/collections/adults-long-sleeve-dryrobe?_gl=1*1ddv0ai*_up*MQ..&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI2K7-vtjAiQMVqDYIBR1OYwdqEAAYASAAEgLEa_D_BwE&gbraid=0AAAAApXBEJT5_L7qeGmuy5YvYi6KYiyQ7

(p.s. I have read two of your books.)
Whatever it is you're doing here, you're doing it right.

I need to pick up an enormous boiled wool dress. Cozy sounds good!
Love love love. I almost thought I saw a heron in that photo. Two long legs. lol
