I'm thinking of the phrase "bobby dazzlers" when I look at those shorts! Bold choice!

Doesn't it mean eye-catching and excellent?! (That's what it meant in South Yorkshire… I think!)

There's Yorkshire, again. I was just saying hello! I wasn't scolding, although it could be interpreted that way? xo

Hello, Nan! Ah, I thought maybe I'd made a faux pas and Bobby Dazzlers means something filthy over there :D

Imagining what the retailer was forecasting when ordering those shorts and knowing how they wound up being deployed is putting a huge smile on my face.

Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours!

I love your gold lame Ptown swim shorts and your late November Bay swims more than I can say. Happy birthday to the celebrants! I am currently in an HEB parking lot waiting as my sister picks up cake for 90 to share with Solstice Senior living at lunch (meatloaf today) for another round of celebrating their 70th wedding anniversary. There is joy and conflict and some fierce but newly sloppy due to absent-mindedness games of 42 dominoes. I have had breakfast tacos and many interesting encounters that I am strategically stopping myself from describing here on the open internet. I am thinking of you and your family so much. My sister is back, refusing to move to the other side of the parking lot until I buckle in. Love. Susan

Ps I buckled in in the middle of the last sentence! I can compromise. And she is on serious cake business.

Sounds lovely. We’re in Annapolis, also with family. So happy to have everyone together. Boys live far away (Ann Arbor and Southern California) so it’s been such a treat.

I cannot believe your oldest is going off to college. Damn time. It just keeps on chugging along. It seems like last year you had two little toddlers be bopping around.
